About Margaritaville Machine Recipes

Margaritaville Machine Recipes is run by Tony Jones, a frozen-drink fan who started the site to collect recipes that actually work in a Margaritaville frozen concoction maker. Since then it has grown to 34 recipes, plus machine guides, manuals and a parts finder.

How we build recipes

Frozen concoction makers are picky about liquid volume: too much and you get soup, too little and you get a snow cone. So every recipe here is scaled from the liquid volume the manufacturer’s own manual uses for a margarita in each machine (see the batch ratio cheat sheet). Recipes marked From the manual are adapted from the user manuals; Original recipes are ours; Updated recipes are older site recipes we’ve corrected. Each recipe page has a “What we changed” note.

What we don’t do

• We don’t publish fake reviews or testimonials, and we don’t claim lab tests we haven’t run.
• We don’t show product prices — they change too often to be accurate.
• Machine specs come from the manufacturer manuals. Where we couldn’t verify something, the page says so.
