Best Margaritaville machine (2026 buying guide)
There’s no single “best” Margaritaville machine — there’s the right size and feature set for how you drink and entertain. This guide compares the models using the specifications printed in their own user manuals.
How we put this together: every capacity, control and recipe volume below comes from the manufacturer’s manuals (linked on each model page). We haven’t run lab or side-by-side tests, and we don’t publish wattage or prices we can’t verify. Prices change constantly; the buttons go to Amazon’s current listing. How to choose a frozen concoction maker
1. Batch size
The single-jar models (Bahamas, Key West, Fiji) all list a 36 oz maximum jar, which works out to about three 12 oz frozen drinks per batch. The Tahiti splits its output across three 24 oz jars, and the Bali’s chamber runs at about 30–33 oz (half) or about 60 oz (full) according to its quick-start guide and pocket card. If you regularly serve more than three or four people, a larger machine saves you from running batch after batch.
2. Who decides how much ice?
Key West and Fiji have a Number of Drinks dial: you tell the machine 1, 2 or 3 drinks and it shaves accordingly. The Bahamas has a single automatic cycle, so batch size depends on how much liquid you add; its manual says about 12 oz of liquid or less for a thicker drink and 14 oz or more for a thinner one. All of them have a Shave Only / Blend Only control for manual adjustments.
3. Drink programs
Fruit, cream and ice cream behave differently from a margarita. The Fiji’s selector has Ritas, Daiquiris, Slides and Smoothies; the Bali’s has Ritas, Daiquiris, Coladas and Smoothies; the Tahiti has a drink selector for each of its three stations. If you mostly make margaritas, you don’t need programs — but they help with daiquiris and boozy milkshakes.
4. Serving style
Most machines pour from the jar (the Key West DM1946’s Spiller Spoiler™ lid lets you pour without removing it). The Bali is different: guests press a glass against a lever, and the Remix Channel™ re-blends the drink as it dispenses.
5. Parts and manuals
Blades, sealing rings and jars wear out. Before buying, check that replacement parts for that model are easy to find — see our parts finder. Several older models’ parts are now sold mainly by aftermarket brands.

FAQ
Is a Margaritaville machine better than a regular blender?
It works differently: it shaves ice first, then blends it with your liquids, which is why the texture is closer to a restaurant frozen drink. A regular blender crushes ice and liquid together.
What size Margaritaville machine do I need?
For two to four people, a 36 oz single-jar model (Bahamas, Key West, Fiji) is enough. For parties, look at the Tahiti (3 × 24 oz) or the Bali (up to about 60 oz).
Can I make non-alcoholic drinks?
Yes — see our mocktails. Keep the liquid volume the same as the alcoholic version so the ice ratio still works. The manuals say the appliance itself should not be used by children.
Where can I find my manual?
Our manuals page hosts the PDFs we have; the rest are on the manufacturer’s site.
